Introducing the Small College Movement

Scott Novak

You might be wondering, "What's the big deal about small colleges?" Well, let me tell you—I'm here to show you why small colleges are not just a small part of higher education, but a vital and vibrant one.

You see, I've got a soft spot for the underdogs of academia—the small colleges that often get overshadowed by their larger counterparts. But let me tell you, there's something truly special about these intimate learning communities.

At small colleges, you're not just a face in the crowd; you're part of a tight-knit community where everyone knows your name. With small class sizes and personalized attention from professors, you'll find the support and guidance you need to thrive academically and personally.

But here's the thing—despite all the amazing experiences happening at small colleges, there's often too much negative media attention focused on closures and financial struggles. That's where I come in. My main goal is to promote the positive aspects happening at small colleges and showcase the incredible opportunities they offer.

To that end, I have a podcast and a Twitter feed where I continually promote the great things happening at small colleges. So, whether you're a high school student exploring your college options, a parent looking for the perfect fit for your child, or an educator seeking a supportive work environment, I'm here to guide you through the wonderful world of small colleges.
